Off-Road Electric Kits
The Inferno series boasts an unrivaled record in 1/8 scale GP buggy racing. Since its debut in 1991 it has continued to evolve, and even today the latest MP10 TKI2 is at the leading edge of world racing.
With the development of an electric version MP10 TKI2 and the release of the MP10e in 2020, the popularity of 1/8 EP buggy racing has exploded with the number and standard of competitors also increasing. To maintain its racing advantage, the most competitive elements of the MP10 TKI2 GP model have been incorporated into the evolved form of the MP10e TKI2.
With many innovations, the most immediately obvious is the adoption of a new body with aerodynamics to increase speed, especially through mid-speed range cornering. With the conventional body shape that is strong through tight turns, the high exit velocity can handle all types of layouts, from low-speed to high-speed circuits.
Longer suspension stroke with updated oil shocks and springs delivers improved surface tracing performance. In addition, the EP model neatly arranges wiring to prevent interference with drive components. Improved performance and reliability equip the Inferno MP10e TKI2 with everything you need to win races.

In Depth Features:
- Center Diff Included: The most popular tuning option for the 22X-4 has been the change to a center diff, especially for dirt and clay tracks. So of course, the 22X-4 ELITE would not be truly ELITE without the center diff included.
- Pro Level Ready: Including all of the key option parts that our factory team uses to win races across the world, the 22X-4 ELITE is truly Pro Level Ready from a kit build right out of the box... more so than any 4wd buggy kit ever offered. Parts include Carbon Fiber, Black Anodized Aluminum and Titanium turnbuckles.
- Aluminum Option Parts Included:As the team has found many of the optional aluminum parts for the 22X-4 to improve maintenance or performance, we've included those in the kit as well. Aluminum parts included are the drag link, caster blocks, all four inner pivots, motor mount, front and rear hexes, ball stud washers, and aluminum nuts throughout.
- Geometry Updates: The 22X-4 was an all-new car, and after racing it around the world for the last couple years, we've found ways to make it even better. Additional shock mounting locations, inner camber link locations, smoother ackermann and steering gain locations all just keep getting the 22X-4 ELITE easier and easier to drive faster and faster.
- Tab Style Battery Mount: Keeping the battery in while you're running, and getting it out easy when it's time to charge is just something we thought we could do better. Carbon tabs hold the battery down, with adjustable height to accommodate any battery, thin or standard height. Easy in, secure while running, easy out, done.
- Center Diff Fan Mount: The prevalence of high grip tracks and the 13.5 4wd class have led to the need for many racers to run motor fans to keep temperatures in check. Rather than an aluminum mount, or double-sided tape, the 22X-4 ELITE includes a molded fan mount secured to the center diff to blow air directly down into the motor for the coolest temps the most power.
- Titanium Turnbuckles: Titanium turnbuckles have always been a premium upgrade for race vehicles, and we just couldn't do the 22X-4 ELITE without them. Included are titanium turnbuckles throughout the buggy to save weight and increase performance.
- G3 V2 3mm Shaft Shocks: The G3 V2 shocks give the 22X-4 the plush handling and consistent, leak-free bleed with some ease of use improvements. No more e-clips as the pistons are now secured by screws, new shock caps and shock bodies increase the spring collar height by 3mm to accommodate lower ride heights, new eyelets and spring cups provide -3mm, 0mm and +4mm spring cup off-sets and paired with all new eyelets will never pop off with the screw in feature.
- Gear Diffs: Designed to be light and durable, the 22X-4 is designed with large volume bevel gear diffs for the ultimate in performance and durability. The kit includes all metal diff internals and ring gear, but TLR has you ready also with composite diff internals and ring & pinion gears available as option parts.
- Adjustable Inner Pivots: Included for the front and rear, the adjustable inner pivots give multiple adjustments for anti-squat, kick up, toe, sweep, pivot width, and roll center. This gives the 22X-4 ELITE the windows needed to get it dialed in for any driver, any track and any surface.
- V2 Floating Servo Mount: To keep the servo mounting from affecting the chassis flex, the servo is mounted hanging above the chassis. The mount only secures to the chassis near the chassis centerline, then uses rigid 2.5mm carbon fiber to support the weight and leverage of the servo to optimize steering performance and chassis flex. The V2 version also accommodates all servo off-sets.
- Optimized Composites: The balance and consistency of the 22X-4 ELITE can be tuned using different composite materials in key parts throughout the vehicle. The kit included the parts the race team prefers: Standard front and rear suspension arms, soft mudguards, and standard chassis braces.
- Adjustable Motor and Battery Position: Continuing the theme of maximum adjustment, the 22X-4 ELITE allows for the center differential and motor mount assembly to be mounted in either front and rear positions, with 7mm of adjustment between them. The battery also has an additional 9mm of adjustment for solid changes to front/rear weight balance without the need to increase the static weight.
- 22X-4 Lightweight Body: Sleek, stylish, and lightweight, the 22X-4 body design is the perfect match to the chassis. It looks sleek and fast, is nice and low but provides excellent balance and stability - the best of all worlds.
- Carbon Fiber Optimized: Carbon fiber is extremely light and very rigid, giving it a great strength to weight ratio. It is optimal for many parts of an r/c car, the and 22X-4 ELITE has it mounted in all the key spots: Front Shock Tower, Rear Shock Tower, Center Diff Mount, Front Chassis Brace, Rear Chassis Brace, Front Steering mount, Servo Mount, and Electronics Mounting Plates.
- All Metric Hardware: Using all metric hardware make it easy to find replacement screws, nuts and washers, and helps to limit the number to tools required in the toolbox.
- TLR 6.5" Rear Wing: Pulled from ultra-durable 1.2mm polycarbonate, the TLR 6.5" rear wing isn't new for the 22X-4 ELITE. Instead, this wing has proven itself as the longest lasting and most stable rear wing available for 1/10 buggies over the past few years - and it comes in your kit.
- Easy Access Diffs: Designed to be user-friendly, the 22X-4 ELITE allows the front and rear diffs to both be removed by only removing 4 screws and loosening 2 set screws. Out in less than a minute, and back in just as quickly.

The TEN-SCTE platform has been the dominant force in the 4WD SCT class since its inception. With the TEN-SCTE 3.0 kit, TLR engineers started with the championship-winning 2.0 and refined its suspension geometry to be optimized for all track conditions. These refinements also make the truck easier to drive. Other changes include center driveline adjustability and the inclusion of parts that were considered optional on the SCTE 2.0 kit.
Champion Pedigree:
The TEN-SCTE platform's extensive list of race wins includes the ROAR Nationals, the Cactus Classic and a multitude of other major events. The TEN-SCTE 3.0 kit builds on this heritage by giving racers yet another superbly engineered SCT that can put them on the top of the podium.
Adjustable Center Driveline:
The motor and center diff can be mounted at an angle or in line with the chassis, allowing adjustment of the power bleed between the front and rear drivetrain. Mounted at an angle, the power bleeds evenly front-to-rear and the truck will drive out of the turns harder from point to point. Mounted in line, more power bleeds to the rear, giving the truck more aggressive on-power steering.
22™ Platform Shocks:
Gen II platform shocks reduce overall weight and lower the CG. Machined shock internals, X-rings, TiCN shock shafts and aluminum bleeder caps provide a smoother, more consistent shock. The truck lands better, jumps better, corners quicker and has a lighter, more nimble feel.
Dog-Bone Center Drive:
The center dog bones provide less friction than CVA-type driveshafts, allowing for easier front-to-rear power transfer. This smooth's out changes in power delivery, making the truck easier to drive.
Popular Tuning Parts Included:
Many parts that were previously considered options come standard on the TEN-SCTE 3.0. These include a chassis that is 3mm shorter, 22 platform shocks, a dog-bone center driveline, 15° caster blocks, hard-anodized aluminium suspension balls, a 2.3mm thick front sway bar, lightweight outdrives, and adjustable aluminium front and rear pivots.
CNC-Machined Aluminium Chassis:
The lightweight chassis is machined from durable 7075-T6 hard-anodized aluminium and is 3mm shorter than the stock TEN-SCTE 2.0 chassis. The shorter chassis makes the 3.0 a nimble truck that changes direction quicker and exits turns harder. It also makes it easier to drive fast and lower lap times.
Carbon Fiber Shock Towers:
The ultimate in performance and durability, carbon-fiber shock towers save weight and help lower the CG.
Hard-Anodized Suspension Balls:
To keep the suspension links smooth and free of slop, hard-anodized aluminium suspension balls are used throughout the truck. They are lighter than their steel counterparts and the hard-anodized coating keeps them from wearing so connector fit is always perfect.
Lightweight Outdrives:
Lightweight, CNC-machined outdrives are used throughout the truck. This makes the entire drivetrain lighter so drivers enjoy quicker, more responsive acceleration.
High-Performance TLR® Body:
This incredibly popular body is back for the 3.0. Made from durable 1.2mm polycarbonate, it delivers all the downforce needed to corner fast and stay in control when flying down the straights. During jumps, air under the body is channeled through strategically placed vents so the truck is more stable while airborne. Finishing the body is easy thanks to its pre-cut wheel wells, bumpers and edges. About all that's left to do is cut the vent holes and apply the paint scheme.
Note: Kit includes clear body. Shown painted for example only.

This is a re-release of the iconic Egress 4WD off-road racing buggy.
The Egress first appeared in 1989. It was a follow up kit to the Avante kit, which had a huge fan following. The original Egress featured stacks of special racing parts. The Egress (2013) builds upon the racy original of the same name, adding modern parts to bring it fully up to speed with available battery and motor technologies available in the hobby market today.
Shaft Drive 4WD!
This shaft-driven 4WD chassis features a longitudinally positioned motor and full ball bearings, while carbon fiber upper and lower decks ensure that the model has superb strength. Re-designed front and rear ball differentials offer excellent reliability and easy maintenance, working in tandem with the built-in center one-way to provide sure-footed movement. The one-way bearing is lockable as a set up option. Universal drive shafts feature the same design as those used in the current TRF series parts, to maximize power transmission and improve resistance to wear and tear. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension, supported by four oil dampers equipped with aluminum cylinders, while the front and rear of the model is equipped with stabilizers for enhanced corning performance. Aluminum front uprights offer excellent reliability, and ball bearings in steering linkage arms combine with 2mm thick carbon fiber plate to offer a linear steering response.
Key Features:
- Carbon Fibre Double Deck Frame
- Re-Release of the Iconic 4WD Performance Kit!
- Shaft-Driven 4WD
- Newly-designed ball diffs are employed front and rear, and combine with a center one-way for sure-footed traction.
- The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension is fitted with high-capacity oil dampers for excellent performance off-road.
- The Egress enjoys a wheelbase 15mm longer than that of the Avante, and features carbon fiber upper/lower decks for stability.

The 1/10 scale Axial® SCX10™ III Jeep® JL Wrangler 4WD kit marks the next step forward in scale off-road action. While continuing to incorporate key components that have made SCX10™ vehicles successful, the SCX10™ III increases chassis realism with details that include a replica V8 engine to house the front-mounted 540 motor. It's mated to a realistic transmission housing and transfer case, like a 1:1 vehicle.
The kit's versatile transmission can be built in several ways. If you're using a 3-channel radio like the Spektrum™ DX3™, you can set it up with a third-channel DIG function that lets you lock the rear axle from the transmitter for front wheel drive and a tighter turning radius. Another 3-channel option is to set up the vehicle with a two-speed transmission to select between high and low speeds. To have access to the two-speed transmission and DIG function simultaneously, just add another servo and use a radio with at least four channels (such as the 5-channel Spektrum™ DX5).
The SCX10™ III Jeep® JL Wrangler kit uses portal axles to improve performance by increasing the ground clearance and reducing torque twist. Its standard battery tray accepts full-size standard LiPo or NiMH packs. There's also space on the side rails for drivers who prefer "shorty" packs. Inner fenders and floor sides hide internal components that would usually be visible from the side of the chassis.
To top off the chassis, the kit comes with a clear Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited four-door body that's ready for finishing however you like. Scale details include a roll cage, front hood vents and cowl, windshield wipers, mirrors, door handles and more, plus a detailed interior. New taller and wider, officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler tires on 3-piece licensed KMC Machete beadlock wheels add more scale realism and more grip on dirt, rocks, and all other off-road trails.
Key Features:
- Replica V8 engine, transmission housing and transfer case cover and protect the motor while improving scale appearance
- Chassis tray accepts full-size, standard LiPo or NiMH batteries, with space on the side rails for running small pack sizes
- DIG function transmission setup lets you lock the rear axle from the transmitter for front wheel drive and a tighter turning radius
- Two-speed transmission setup option also available for high and low speeds
- Portal axles increase ground clearance and reduce torque twist
- Adjustable wheelbase chassis allows each driver to choose the size of their chassis
- Inner fenders and floor sides hide internal components usually visible from the side of the chassis
- Licensed KMC Machete 3-piece beadlock wheels provide scale looks and let you remove and replace tires without gluing
- Officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler tires in a new taller and wider size increase ground clearance and grip
- Fully rebuildable, oil-filled shocks include hard anodized, threaded shock bodies, coilover springs, and an emulsion-style cap with screw for easier rebuilds
- Clear scale Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited body with detailed interior

SCALE ENGINE DETAIL: Scale features including a replica V8 engine, transmission housing, and transfer case all cover and protect your electric motor while adding to the realistic appearance.
MULTIPLE BATTERY MOUNTING LOCATIONS: The SCX10™ III Jeep® JL Wrangler has a standard battery tray that accepts full-size standard LiPo or NiMH packs. There's space on the side rails, too, for drivers who prefer smaller size packs or need additional power for other accessories.
DIG TRANSMISSION WITH TWO-SPEED OPTION: Using 3-channel control, the kit's transmission can be set up one of two ways: with high and low speeds or with a DIG function that locks the rear axle from the transmitter on command, for the tighter turning radius of front wheel drive. With another servo and 4-channel control, both options can be made available simultaneously.
PORTAL OFFSET AXLE HOUSING WITH HYPOID RING AND PINION GEAR: Portal Axles like those found in some full-size off-roaders provide higher ground clearance and reduce the torque on other drivetrain components for improved performance.
ADJUSTABLE WHEELBASE CHASSIS: The SCX10™ III Jeep® JL Wrangler kit wheelbase is adjustable with optional links, allowing you to choose the wheelbase of your choice.
OPTIMIZED SUSPENSION GEOMETRY: The suspension geometry is based on the SCX10™ II but refined slightly for the new chassis layout. The front suspension has been optimized to reduce bump steer, while the rear 4-link reduces torque twist.
CLEAR JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED 4-DOOR BODY: The clear scale Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited body mirrors its full-size counterpart with a detailed interior for "super scale" looks. The interior has a molded roll cage, steering wheel, and driver head. There are many molded scale details on the body, too: front radiator/light buckets; front hood vents; front cowl; windshield wipers; mirrors; door handles; and fuel door.
INNER FENDERS AND FLOOR SIDES: The SCX10™ III Jeep® JL Wrangler kit body's inner fenders and floor sides hide internal components that would usually be visible from the side of the chassis. The sealed receiver box can be removed to give you more space for the electronics of your choice. An extra tree of body posts is included, allowing you to customize your rig with any 12.3" wheel based bodies.
NITTO TRAIL GRAPPLER TIRES: The S30 compound Nitto Trail Grappler tires included with the SCX10™ III Jeep® JL Wrangler kit are taller and wider (4.74 x 1.7), providing more ground clearance and more grip in the variety of terrain that you will find while you're off-roading.
LICENSED 3-PIECE BEADLOCK WHEELS: Legendary in the off-road world, these officially licensed KMC XD Machete wheels are molded in satin chrome and include stunning scale details. Because they're 3-piece beadlock wheels, tires can be mounted, removed and replaced easily without gluing.
ALUMINIUM ADJUSTABLE COILOVER SHOCKS: The oil-filled shocks have clear anodized, threaded bodies, a single coilover spring, plus an emulsion-style cap with screw for easier rebuilds. The shocks are tunable for achieving the best dampening rate. Their increased bore size also creates more fluid volume for better performance.
CHASSIS MOUNTED SERVO: CMS has become a standard in scale RC and the SCX10™ III is designed with that standard in mind. The servo is mounted in the chassis, just as a full-size Jeep has its steering box located on the frame.
MULTIPLE TRANSMISSION OPTIONS: Using a 3-channel transmitter and a micro servo, you have control on demand. The SCX10™ III kit transmission can be configured in one of two ways. Set it up for 2-speed using the high and low gears or set it up for front dig to have a tighter turning radius with the rear axle locked. With a 4-channel transmitter and a second micro servo, it can be configured to use both features.

This is the 22SCT 3.0 Competition Short Course Truck from Team Losi Racing.
The 22SCT 3.0 builds on the advances of its predecessor with a host of changes that make it the truck to beat in short course competition. Also, many parts that were considered optional on the 2.0 are now included so you can build to team spec right out of the box.
Key Features:
- Based on the championship-winning 22 3.0 buggy
- Revised mid-motor mounting location
- Revised front and rear suspension geometry
- 3-Gear transmission for better acceleration and grip
- Aluminium-plate rear hub
- HDS Slipper with HD Spring
- Lightweight 7075-T6 Aluminium chassis
- Gen II 12mm big-bore shocks

Revised Motor Location
As with the 22™ 3.0 buggy, the 22SCT 3.0 motor location is 12mm closer to the diff gear than it was in the previous version. This increases the rear weight bias, providing better rear grip on exit, more entry steering and a truck that, overall, is easier to drive.
3-Gear Transmission
During testing, the 3-gear transmission substantially improved speed and rear-end grip for both spec and modified classes. Other benefits included better handling, quicker acceleration. A 4-gear transmission is available separately so drivers can dial in response for any track surface, grip level, or driving style.
Revised Front Suspension Geometry
All-new front caster blocks and suspension arms allow for variable length arm adjustment. This, together with the bell crank steering system, provides the same amazing steering 22SCT drivers have come to love, but with a more consistent feel between different surfaces. It all adds up to a truck with neutral balance that requires less tuning from track to track to maximize performance.
Revised Rear Suspension Geometry
The rear pivot is 2mm wider for better rear grip and stability without losing any corner speed. The rear arms and shock towers have revised shock mounting locations. The jumping, landing, and chassis roll dynamics of the rear end have been optimized for a higher rear weight bias percentage.
Aluminium-Plate Rear Hub
The hub base is molded composite, allowing a bearing to be press fit without play and minimal unspring weight when compared to an all-Aluminium hub. The Aluminium plate is secured to the hub with an M3 screw and ball stud, which is vertically adjustable. Now the ball stud is supported by Aluminium from pushing or pulling out, while still threading into composite so it cannot work loose.
Transverse Battery Mounting
The new, wider 2.5mm Aluminium chassis and molded mud guards create a battery mounting pocket which allows shorty- and saddle-style LiPo packs to be mounted transversely across the chassis. Shorty packs can also be mounted in line with the chassis. This allows racers to fine tune the weight bias of the truck for just about every racing condition imaginable.
HDS Slipper with HD Spring
The 22SCT 3.0 includes Heavy Duty Slipper (HDS) pads and 84T HDS spur gears as well as grooved and tapered slipper plates. The biggest improvement comes with the HD slipper spring that offers a wider range of adjustment. It also makes the slipper more consistent.
Included Option Parts
Many of the parts included with this kit are popular upgrades that provide everything needed to build a pro-level short course truck right out of the box. This includes milled, 7075-T6 Aluminium parts like the top shaft, adjustable rear pivot mounts, motor plate, rear camber block, bleeder shock caps and ball stud spacers throughout.

The TLR® 22T 4.0 Stadium Truck kit takes the competition proven on-track performance of the 22T 3.0 and gives it an advanced, mid-motor laydown transmission treatment. With the wider track width and the relatively shorter chassis of the truck class, TLR engineers and the race team demanded higher development of the 22™ platform. The result is a next-level platform expected to dominate the ROAR National Championships.
The laydown transmission moves the motor forward to a central motor location. This helps the 22T 4.0 drive much flatter, more consistent and corners quicker on higher grip surfaces. Still fitting a brick pack, saddle pack, or a shorty pack mounted across the chassis, drivers can maximize performance with best weight bias for all surfaces. In short, we've taken the race winning 22T 3.0 and added the "laydown" setup to maximize the performance.

The 22T 4.0 comes loaded with optional upgrades like machined 7075-T6 Aluminium top shaft, motor plate, rear camber block, clamping rear hexes and ball stud spacers throughout. In addition, Aluminium bleeder shock caps and machined shock pistons are also included.
Laydown Transmission:
The laydown 3-gear transmission moves the motor forward by 20mm+ to a more centralized location. The benefit is a chassis that drives much flatter and carries more corner speed.
Aluminium Plate Rear Hub:
The 22T 4.0 includes a 2-piece rear hub carrier that features an Aluminium plate. The hub base is molded composite, allowing a press bearing fit without play and minimal unsprung weight compared to an Aluminium hub. The Aluminium plate is secured to the hub with a M3 screw and ball stud, which is vertically adjustable. As a result, the rear hub is supported by Aluminium keeps from pushing or pulling out, while still threading into composite so it cannot work loose.
Two Shock Mounting Options:
With the laydown configuration and a stylish 22T 4.0 body, the GenII rear shocks can be mounted either in front of the rear tower and suspension arm, or in the traditional location to the rear. This has become a popular tuning option for higher grip surfaces that increases forward weight bias and rear end stability.
Ballast Tuning Options:
Running a higher static weight helps the chassis become more neutral and easier to drive on ultra-high grip surfaces. The 7075-T6 Aluminium chassis is designed to accept massive brass plates below the battery so that you can make a quick static vehicle weight tuning modification and contend with changing track conditions (Tuning Ballast Weights sold separately).
22T 4.0 Body:
The 22T 4.0 includes a body that's a fresh take on the challenge of creating a shape that fits around the varying rear shock tower and shock mounting options. The solution is molded from 1.2mm polycarbonate and provides an outstanding aero-balance while being robust and durable.
GenII 12mm Big Bore Shocks:
The GenII 12mm Big Bore Shocks have set a standard in performance and maintenance. Features include X-Ring Seals, machined shock bushings and machined 2 x 1.6 and 2 x 1.7mm pistons. The shock shafts are TiCN coated. The bleeder screw caps and threaded hard anodized shock bodies are Aluminium.
Lightweight 7075-T6 Aluminium Chassis:
The 22T 4.0 chassis is all new to accommodate proper battery mounting options. It has also been pocketed for optional brass ballast weights, and to be a lighter kit out of the box.
Fully Updated Ball Differential:
Using all of the performance parts from the 22 2.0, the ball diff in the 22T 4.0 will maintain the super smooth and long lasting performance benefitting from features such as 2nd operation flattened outdrives, revised thrust washers, tungsten carbide diff and thrust balls, one-piece nut and a self-centering diff gear.
Transverse Battery Mounting:
A wider 2.5mm Aluminium chassis and molded mud guards create a battery mounting pocket that allows for both saddle and shorty type LiPo packs to be mounting transverse across the chassis and a shorty mounted fore-aft for the ultimate in battery mounting adjustment. This allows more tuning capability front to rear and a wider placement of the battery weight so you can have a more stable setup without increasing the total weight of the truck.
Adjustable Toe and Anti-Squat:
Just like the 22™ 4.0, the 22T 4.0 rear pivots now fit adjustable inserts for the rear toe and anti-squat adjustments for quick, easy changes to geometry without the need to buy additional parts. Both are adjustable in 0.5 degree increments-the rear toe adjustments range from 2.5 to 4.0 degrees and the rear anti-squat adjustments range from 0.0 to 3.0 degrees.
HDS Slipper:
The 22T 4.0 will include the Heavy Duty Slipper (HDS) pads and 82T HDS spur gear, plus the grooved and taper slipper plates. Working together, the slipper performance is more consistent, self-cleaning and long lasting.
Motor Fan Mount:
The prevalence of spec racing has led to the need for many racers to run motor fans to keep temperatures lower. Rather than an Aluminium mount, or double sided tape, the 22T 4.0 includes a molded fan mount secured to the mud guard for easy and dependable fan mounting.

Parts include Carbon Fiber, Black Anodized Aluminium and Titanium turnbuckles.
- Carbon Fiber Parts Included: The overwhelming popular carbon fiber option and tuning parts for the 22 5.0's have been added into the kit. +2mm front and rear shock towers, electronics mounting plate, and a rear wing washer are now included in the kit!
- Aluminium Option Parts Included: As the team has found many of the optional aluminium parts for the 22 5.0 to improve maintenance or performance, those are now included in the kit as well. Aluminium options included are the bell cranks, drag link, servo mount, outer front bearing inserts, rear camber block, C and D pivots, and aluminium nuts throughout.
- Titanium Turnbuckles Included: Titanium turnbuckles have always been a premium upgrade for race vehicles, and there could not be a proper 22 5.0 DC ELITE kit without them. Included are titanium turnbuckles throughout the buggy to save weight and increase performance.
- All New Rear Hubs and Inner Rear Pivots: The 22 5.0 DC ELITE includes Inner Rear Pivots with roll center, track width, anti-squat and toe adjustment paired with the Variable Height Axle (VHA) rear hubs which also give more roll center and axle height adjustment. This is the most adjustable rear suspension TLR has ever produced.
- Revamped Steering Geometry: The 22 5.0 is the best driving 2WD buggy Team Losi Racing has ever created and the biggest improvement comes from the steering geometry. Increasing the length of the steering bell cranks and spindle arms, along with changes to the Ackermann angle give the 22 5.0 a significantly smoother steering feel, especially off-center and high speed, while increasing low-speed steering for tighter tracks and 180's.
- Super Heavy Duty Slipper (SHDS): The slipper is optimized with all new slipper plates, slipper pads, spring, spur gears, and an all new top shaft. The new top shaft uses a sturdy M4 lock nut, the new slipper pads allow for spur gears sized 69T to 84T, reduced slipper pad area provides a more linear slip through the throttle application, and thicker slipper plates keep consistent pressure across the surface of the slipper pads.
- G3 12mm Big Bore Shocks: The G3 shocks give the 22 5.0 the plush handling and consistent, leak-free bleed as the Gen II shocks, but with some long-anticipated ease of use improvements. The new eyelets are also made in two lengths that allow racers to switch between different heights, and work with revised shock balls that finally slide into the front arms smoothly and easily.
- 2.0 Milled Aluminium Chassis:Maximizing the flex characteristics for all surfaces, the 2.0mm thick chassis give the right about of flex and rigidity for smooth corning, optimized balance, and bounce-free landings.
- Fully Updated Ball Differential: Using all of the revised components from the 22 2.0 ball differential, the 22 5.0 diff will deliver super-smooth, long-lasting performance. Features include revised thrust washers, tungsten carbide diff and thrust balls, a one piece nut, and a self-centering diff gear.
- 22 5.0 Body: Maintaining the excellent balance, grip, and stability of the 22 4.0 body, with a similar styling, the 22 5.0 body is pulled from 0.8mm PC plate for a lightweight body that still has fantastic durability. As with all TLR bodies, the 5.0 body is precut in the kit.
- TLR Low Front Wing Included: With the higher speed, higher grip tracks of today, a front wing will increase steering in high speed turns and on power, while making the steering on entry smoother - the best of all worlds.
- All Metric Hardware: Using all metric hardware make it easy to find replacement screws, nuts and washers, and helps to limit the number to tools required in the toolbox.
- Diff Height Adjustment: The 22 4.0 included diff height adjustments including 0 and +3.5mm settings. The 22 5.0 SR includes 0 and +1mm heights to optimize bone angle and bone plunge for different grip levels.
- Front Roll Center Adjustment: The 22 5.0 includes the standard Low Roll Center (LRC) front pivot with kick shim in the kit and offers the optional High Roll Center (HRC) front pivot separately. Also included in the kit is a 1mm thick kick shim which allows for incremental adjustments. Now, racers can run the Super Low Roll Center, Low Roll Center, Medium Roll Center, or High Roll Center, with a 3mm adjustment window.
- Redesigned Front Camber Block: The front camber block adds a third camber link option between the tradition inside and outside holes. The position provides the best balance of steering and stability in many conditions, and allows the 22 5.0 to be more dialed-in on more different grip levels.
- Redesigned Battery Hold Down: The 22 5.0 boasts the most versatile and easiest to use battery hold down system. The battery cradles key into the mud guards for five fixed, and easy to replicate, battery positions. The battery is then held down with elastomer straps on each end that can stretch to fit any height shorty battery and any weight plates under it. Best of all, the battery is out in no time flat and back in just as easily.
- Optimized Composites, Stiffezel: The balance and consistency of the 22 5.0 can be tuned using different composite materials in key parts throughout the vehicle. The kit included the parts the race team prefers: Stiffezel front suspension arms, mud guards, and waterfall and soft rear suspension arms.
- Ballast Tuning Options: Optional brass ballast weighs can be mounted under the battery, and under the laydown transmission idler. This makes it easy to tune the static weight and weight bias for changing track conditions. When running a higher static weight, the chassis will become more neutral and easier to drive on ultra-high-grip surfaces.
- TLR 6.5" Rear Wing: Pulled from ultra-durable 1.2mm polycarbonate, the TLR 6.5" rear wing isn't new for the 5.0. Instead, this wing has proven itself as the longest lasting and most stable rear wing available for 1/10 2wd buggies over the past few years - and it comes in the kit.
- Built-In Motor Fan Mount: The prevalence of spec racing has led to the need for many racers to run motor fans to keep temperatures lower. Rather than an aluminium mount, or double-sided tape, the 22 5.0 includes a molded fan mount secured to the mud guard for easy and dependable fan mounting.
- Laydown Configuration: The laydown 3-gear transmission moves the motor forward by 20mm+ to a more centralized location. The benefit is a chassis that drives much flatter and carries more corner speed.

About the X-SA series
Kits are a big part of what we do here at Tamiya, but we also understand that some people may not have the time or confidence for the assembly of an R/C model – that is why we have come up with the X-SA (Expert-Semi-Assembled) series of models. Each product features a fully-assembled and setup chassis with our TEU-105BK ESC (electronic speed control) included, plus a fully painted body with the marking stickers already applied. All you need to do is provide the R/C equipment and battery pack, install it, and you’re ready to drive.
• 1/12 scale finished R/C model. Length: 385mm, width: 290mm, height: 260mm.
• Features a stylish, tough styrene body, which comes with stickers already applied.
• The durable, easy-assembly 2WD chassis employs a box type frame with front swing arm independent and rear rolling rigid suspension setups.
• Big 115mm diameter semi-pneumatic tires on yellow wheels offer a dynamic drive on even the toughest of surfaces.
• The sealed rear gearbox protects the differential inside from dust and dirt.
• A rear wheelie bar supports the model for wheels-in-the-air action when you slam on the throttle.
