REDS Racing WR7 Diamond Edition 2.0 .21 Engine Combo with 2143 X-One Smooth Pipe (REDS COBU0008)
This is the 2nd generation of the WR7 "DIAMOND EDITION" engine and includes the REDS Racing X-ONE 2143 One-Piece Off-Road Tuned Pipe which combines the REDS 2143 Pipe and the REDS XS Manifold to create this one-piece "Smooth" exhaust.

The pipe has been welded to the manifold to improve performance and fuel consumption. With X-ONE configuration there is no need for springs or gaskets, and the one piece design creates increased reliability and improved tuning stability.

The REDS Racing WR7 Diamond Edition 2.0 .21 Off-Road Competition Nitro Buggy Engine is a 7 port engine with special porting for extreme power. Based on WR7 Diamond edition, the engine comes with the same sleeve and piston, DLC crankshaft, crankcase, etc. to keep its power characteristics unchanged. But the carburetor and cooling system have been improved to provide more stability and improved consistency.

REDS improved the previous WR7 Diamond Edition with:  

  • Improved idle stability and tuning options thanks to a redesigned 3 needle carburetor.
  • Improved mid to top range power curve and feeling thanks to a special low speed needle and mid range spray bar.
  • improved cooling system specifically developed to widen the operating range so that the engine can work well in extremely hot conditions.
  • Redesigned cooling system guarantee a more consistent tuning in every track condition.
The 2.0 includes all the regular features included in the DIAMOND EDITION engine with a DLC Coated crankshaft and backplate for improved engine durability.

The crankshaft can last approximately 3 times longer than a standard crankshaft thanks to the extreme hardness of the diamond coating. Even the conrod life is lengthened about 50%.

This is the WR7 "DIAMOND EDITION" engine and 2143 Tuned Pipe combo from REDS Racing.

The WR7 "DIAMOND EDITION" engine is a 7 special porting extreme power engine based on the famous R7 Worlds Edition engine.

REDS Racing decided to improve the previous limited version of the R7 Worlds Edition and provide the DIAMOND EDITION engine with a DLC Coated crankshaft and backplate for improved engine durability.

The crankshaft can last approximately 3 times longer than a standard crankshaft thanks to the extreme hardness of the diamond coating. Even the conrod life is lengthened about 50%.

Furthermore, they provided the WR7 with a brand new cooling head which features an innovative design for improved air flow in order to increase the cooling. The new cooling head is also 10% lighter than the standard ones which guarantee's a lower center of gravity.

The R5T Team Edition v4.0 is the perfect synthesis of innovation and technology. Loaded with features, the R5T Team is a high performance 21 off-road engine and was developed for high bite and tracks that require increased bottom end power. The engine is designed to provide improved fuel efficiency, performance and reliability.

REDS has introduced a sealing system to help keep dirt away from the redesigned internals. Plus, a lightweight combustion chamber, lightweight crankcase, and redesigned crankshaft create a lower working center of gravity and a lighter overall package. Additionally, the GEN2 venturi was included for improved mileage and tunability.
