Nitro Engines
This monster tuned engine is a limited edition of only 300 pcs all around the World. This is the same engine used by Reds Factory Team at the 2022 IFMAR Worlds in Redovan together with our new 2113 X-One pipe.
Our main goal was to develop a faster engine compared to the Superveloce able to guarantee a good fuel mileage. Thanks to the special modification to the sleeve and crankshaft we managed to make it even faster than the Superveloce and at the same time drivable. Furthermore, the combination with the new 2113 X-One pipe allowed us to create this new monster tuned engine.
This engine is suitable for tracks where a more powerful engine will give you an advantage. The Superveloce is a classic 3.5cc 7 ports engine, a feature that has now become REDS Racing trademark, it can be used for both 1/8 buggy and truggy. Thanks to the AirBoost backplate and Extra Tuning by Mario Rossi the new engine has an extremely linear power delivery, which makes it super powerful but at the same time drivable.
What’s New?
- Ultra Tuned Crankshaft and sleeve by Mario Rossi: This special modification to the crankshaft by Mario Rossi increases engine power noticeably and guarantees good fuel mileage at the same time. The crankshaft is re-balanced by hand to ensure reduced vibration at high speeds.
- Airboost Backplate: The Aiboost Backplate has been designed for increased Mid to High RPM Power, increased fuel efficiency and faster return to idle.

We are excited to offer the new limited edition 721 Superveloce off-road engine to celebrate REDS Racings excellent success at the 2023 Euros in Redovan. This monster tuned engine is a limited edition of only 300 pieces all around the World. Same setup used by Juan Carlos Canas - TQ and 1st Place - and Eliott Boots - 2nd place at the 2023 European Championship. Reds engines proved to be the best in terms of mileage, reliability and tuning stability.
What’s new:
- Engine comes with their revolutionary RTX Rotating Backplate that aims to increase engine power and improve stability at idle speed thanks to a drastic reduction in friction between the connecting rod and backplate. This time Reds Racing engineers have invented something unique in the RC model market, destined to be considered one of the most innovative solutions of the last 30 years. Contrary to what happens for traditional RC engines, where the connecting rod slides on the backplate producing sliding friction, in the RTX Backplate the connecting rod is in contact with a special steel plate that can rotate together with the conrod thanks to the fact that it is mounted on two special high speeds ball bearings.

This is the new 521 GTS Ceramic Gen2 engine from Reds Racing specifically developed for 1:8 nitro GT class that has included the pre Break-in service by Mario Rossi.
The new 521 GTS GEN2 engine features high power, tuning stability and great fuel mileage. Combined with specific technical changes at the carburettor, combustion chamber and front bearing, this 5 port engine features higher power and better fuel efficiency compared to any other engine.
We developed 3 different combinations for this engine: 521 GTS with steel bearing, 521 GTS with ceramic bearing and 521 GTS Pro Tuned by Mario Rossi with ceramic bearing.
You can order all of them with or without pre break-in service.
What is new and different?
New CG3 Carburettor: The biggest improvement is the brand new aluminium carburettor made from pressure die casting. The new GTS comes with a completely redesigned 3 needle carburettor for better and easier tuning in all conditions. Furthermore, thanks to its mid range needle, this carburettor guarantees more linear power delivery and greater power.The new carb has been specifically designed to fit the INS BOX homologated by EFRA and IFMAR. To match all the above features and improve product quality we have made a brand new die casting tool.
New Combustion Chamber: The new 521 GTS comes with a completely redesigned combustion chamber to improve power delivery especially at low RPM (torque). This engine can work with both 16EU and 25% nitro fuel.
New High-sealing front bearing: The new front bearing guarantees better sealing and high RPM range. The new front bearing assures a better idle stability since the rubber seal reduces leaking. Thanks to this new bearing the engine and consequently the bearing itself is more reliable.
Furthermore, we have developed a new pipe kit for this engine. The new pipe kit comes with 2113 pipe and a conical manifold to optimize the 521 GTS GEN2 power curve.

The 521 Sport features technical changes in the 5 port sleeve, combined with updated materials to offer users high reliability, tuning stability and fuel mileage. The insulator bushing has been improved with aerospace grade ultra high strength polymer. - STATE OF THE ART DIE CASTING: The unique high stiffness crankcase design is produced with a high quality pressure die casting process and special aluminum alloy developed by REDS Racing engineers to guarantee higher stiffness and strength.
