Pinion Gears

This is the Aluminium Pinion Puck from JConcept designed for carrying 48 pitch pinions 17T-26T.

Carrying an assortment of pinion gears has never been easier with the introduction of the Pinion Puck by JConcepts. The circular design and aluminium material surrounds the pinion gear and protects the finish of valued gears from damage. Each Pinion Puck has steel pins pressed into location giving the proper placement for the pinion. The pins also provide a sturdy area for the holding set screw to clamp against.

The JConcepts Aluminium Pinion Puck - Modified Range - features laser etching to indicate proper sizing; ranging from 17-26T in 48 pitch. The center features a recess to hold small components and also etched to indicate overall size of the Puck while displaying JConcepts branding. The Puck is available in blue or black colors and features the silver chamfered edging which highlight an innovative design.

This is the Black Pinion case from RPM designed for carrying 48 pitch pinions.

Just one small nick on a pinion can eventually destroy a plastic spur gear! With that in mind, RPM designed this case that holds each pinion on its own post and the lid snaps shut, so there is no need to tighten the set-screw to hold the pinions in place! Included with the case is a peel-off decal sheet with two pinion to spur gear ratio charts for both 48- and 64-pitch gears.

The appropriate chart can be placed in the recessed area on the bottom of the case. Also on the decal sheet is a set of numbered squares from 14 to 31 (gear teeth), that can be adhered to the inside of the case. There are ten blank squares so you can write in your own numbers if needed.
