This monster tuned engine is a limited edition of only 300 pcs all around the World. This is the same engine used by Reds Factory Team at the 2022 IFMAR Worlds in Redovan together with our new 2113 X-One pipe.
Our main goal was to develop a faster engine compared to the Superveloce able to guarantee a good fuel mileage. Thanks to the special modification to the sleeve and crankshaft we managed to make it even faster than the Superveloce and at the same time drivable. Furthermore, the combination with the new 2113 X-One pipe allowed us to create this new monster tuned engine.
This engine is suitable for tracks where a more powerful engine will give you an advantage. The Superveloce is a classic 3.5cc 7 ports engine, a feature that has now become REDS Racing trademark, it can be used for both 1/8 buggy and truggy. Thanks to the AirBoost backplate and Extra Tuning by Mario Rossi the new engine has an extremely linear power delivery, which makes it super powerful but at the same time drivable.

- Ultra Tuned Crankshaft and sleeve by Mario Rossi: This special modification to the crankshaft by Mario Rossi increases engine power noticeably and guarantees good fuel mileage at the same time. The crankshaft is re-balanced by hand to ensure reduced vibration at high speeds.

We are excited to offer the new limited edition 721 Superveloce off-road engine to celebrate REDS Racings excellent success at the 2023 Euros in Redovan. What’s new:
- Engine comes with their revolutionary RTX Rotating Backplate that aims to increase engine power and improve stability at idle speed thanks to a drastic reduction in friction between the connecting rod and backplate. This time Reds Racing engineers have invented something unique in the RC model market, destined to be considered one of the most innovative solutions of the last 30 years. Contrary to what happens for traditional RC engines, where the connecting rod slides on the backplate producing sliding friction, in the RTX Backplate the connecting rod is in contact with a special steel plate that can rotate together with the conrod thanks to the fact that it is mounted on two special high speeds ball bearings.

721 Superveloce Pro Gen 3 Main Features:

This is the new 521 GTS Ceramic Gen2 engine from Reds Racing specifically developed for 1:8 nitro GT class that has included the pre Break-in service by Mario Rossi.
The new 521 GTS GEN2 engine features high power, tuning stability and great fuel mileage. Combined with specific technical changes at the carburettor, combustion chamber and front bearing, this 5 port engine features higher power and better fuel efficiency compared to any other engine.
We developed 3 different combinations for this engine: 521 GTS with steel bearing, 521 GTS with ceramic bearing and 521 GTS Pro Tuned by Mario Rossi with ceramic bearing.
You can order all of them with or without pre break-in service.
What is new and different?
New CG3 Carburettor: The biggest improvement is the brand new aluminium carburettor made from pressure die casting. The new GTS comes with a completely redesigned 3 needle carburettor for better and easier tuning in all conditions. Furthermore, thanks to its mid range needle, this carburettor guarantees more linear power delivery and greater power.The new carb has been specifically designed to fit the INS BOX homologated by EFRA and IFMAR. To match all the above features and improve product quality we have made a brand new die casting tool.
New Combustion Chamber: The new 521 GTS comes with a completely redesigned combustion chamber to improve power delivery especially at low RPM (torque). This engine can work with both 16EU and 25% nitro fuel.
New High-sealing front bearing: The new front bearing guarantees better sealing and high RPM range. The new front bearing assures a better idle stability since the rubber seal reduces leaking. Thanks to this new bearing the engine and consequently the bearing itself is more reliable.
Furthermore, we have developed a new pipe kit for this engine. The new pipe kit comes with 2113 pipe and a conical manifold to optimize the 521 GTS GEN2 power curve.

This is the Third generation Z8 PRO 1/8 Competition Gen3 Brushless ESC from REDS Racing.

The new Reds Racing RTX Rotary Backplate is an engineering masterpiece that will revolutionise the world of RC Model Nitro Engines.
Developed by Marco and Mario Rossi in collaboration with the best RC drivers in the world, the backplate aims to increase engine power and improve stability at idle speed thanks to a drastic reduction in friction between the connecting rod and backplate.
Reds Racing was one of the first companies in the world to work on reducing the friction between the backplate connecting rod with the introduction of DLC coating on the backplate.
This time Reds Racing engineers have invented something unique in the rc model market, destined to be considered one of the most innovative solutions of the last 30 years.
Contrary to what happens for traditional RC engines, where the connecting rod slides on the backplate producing sliding friction, in the RTX Backplate the connecting rod is in contact with a special steel plate that can rotate together with the conrod thanks to the fact that it is mounted on two special high speed ball bearings.
The backplate is designed, made and tested in Italy respecting the best quality standards. It is currently only available as an optional part and suitable only for Reds Racing engines on road and off road.

The 4-shoe clutch is easy to adjust and thanks to a rotating front plate there's no need to disassemble it or to change springs. When you do, you don't need any tool, just your hands. You can change the spring preload from L to H position or vice versa with three simple steps: pull out the front plate, rotate it counter-clockwise until you centre the desired hole with the pin and push it in to the stop position.
The clutch system is 100% made in Italy and comes pre assembled and tested to ensure the best performance and reliability. It is available both with 32mm and 34mm diameter to make it suitable for any type of car (Buggy and Truggy). 32mm for Kyosho, JQ, Mugen, Team Associated, Hot Bodies, Serpent, Xray. 34mm for Team Losi, Agama. The original REDS bell can be used with all the cars listed above, except for Team Losi.
Hybrid Shoes
The clutch system is made up of a hybrid 4 shoes system: two 7075 aluminium shoes and two carbon shoes which is suitable for every kind of track.
Flywheel
The lightweight flywheel has a low inertia to rotation to maximize engine power.
Vented Bell
The REDS high performance vented clutch bell (not included) is manufactured with a special hardened carbon steel and high accuracy CNC machining. These features assure longer life to clutch bells, shoes and ball bearings.
Clutch Setup Recommendations:
- 4x Carbon, L Setting, Buggy: Used on very loose tracks where little punch is needed
- 2x Carbon 2x Alum, M Setting, Buggy: Good all around setup. Best compromise for punch and mileage
- 1x Carbon 3x Alum, M Setting, Buggy: Increased punch with slightly less mileage
- 2x Carbon 2x Alum, H Setting, Buggy: Increased punch, good for jumps right out of turn, with average mileage.
- 1x Carbon 3x Alum, H Setting, Buggy: Very aggressive with great punch
- 2x Carbon 2x Alum, XH* Setting, Truggy: Good all around setup. Best compromise for punch and mileage

This is a TS4 "Super Hot" Turbo Special Off-Road Glow Plug REDS Racing.
This is a TS3 "Ultra Hot" Turbo Special Off-Road Glow Plug REDS Racing.
This is the Short version that connects the tuned pipe to the manifold on the REDS R5, R5C, R5T and R5TE engines.
NOTE: This part will not work to seal the manifold to muffler connection. REDS lists a separate part number (REDS GM0001) for the manifold/muffler gasket.

We recommended that you install new Piston pin clips (ES211014) to prevent possible failure caused by using used clips.
This is the Short version that connects the manifold to the engine crankcase on the REDS R5, R5C, R5T and R5TE engines.
These clips are used to retain the wrist pin inside the piston, which secures the piston to the connecting rod. If you ever remove the clips during engine maintenance, the clips can become damaged.
It is recommended that any time you remove the wrist pin clips you replace them with new clips to prevent possible failure caused by using used clips.
This Venturi is compatible with the REDS R5, R5C, R5T and R5TE engines.
The carburetor venturi is used to adjust the airflow that is allowed into the engine. By changing the size of the venturi, you can fine tune the power delivery and run time of the engine.
A larger venturi will increase top end power, while at the same time reducing run time. A smaller venturi will improve bottom end throttle response, and improve run time.
NOTE:This venturi does not include o-rings.
