The Tamiya Masking Tape 40mm is made for modelers who need crisp paint breaks on plastic kits and polycarbonate RC shells. Its balanced adhesive keeps lines sharp without leaving residue when used correctly.

Suitable applications

Use this tape to mask panels, create stripes or protect trim during painting. It sticks well to smooth and slightly textured surfaces and bends to match gentle body contours for neat results.

Tips for best finish

Always start with a clean, dry surface. Firmly rub the tape edge to seal it against paint. Allow paint adequate drying time, then lift the tape slowly at about 45 degrees to preserve the edge.
