This is a Mini 4x4 Grasshopper Jr from Tamiya.


This assembly kit creates The Grasshopper Jr., an exciting Mini 4WD car that is based upon the legendary 1984 R/C car and 40-year Tamiya mainstay of the same name. The elegantly streamlined Grasshopper form looks great shrunk down to Mini 4WD car size, and its single seater buggy-inspired slimline form with foglamps is accented with a driver figure. Logos and numbers are included as stickers in the box, and the model runs on the compact VZ chassis.

VZ Chassis
The VZ chassis is a compact and lightweight design that features reinforced designs for bumper, rear stay base and more ensuring that it has the durability and flexibility to withstand racing accidents.
It is also a rather adaptable unit that lets its owner make numerous updates to the setup. Low friction 620 plastic bearings are molded in POM and maximize drive efficiency, while the chassis and A parts are molded in ABS. This chassis features a gear ratio of 3.5:1.
