This is a color variation of the 1/10 R/C Egress (2013) (Item 58583) - new color stickers, dampers and uprights to match up with a black-based body (requires painting). The black color scheme enhances the classy image of the Egress, and the black-themed packaging finishes off the classy presentation!

AVANTE details:
This is a Limited-Edition Black Special release of the Avante 2011 edition, which was originally released to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Tamiya R/C car products. It sports a color scheme inspired by its Mini 4WD cousin the Avante Black Special.
The machine features a unique shaft-driven 4WD system which was taken from Tamiya’s first 4WD R/C buggy, the Hotshot. It features a highly sophisticated design including an FRP double-deck chassis layout, longitudinal motor & battery positions, and a formula-type body with chassis fairing. It is equipped with innovative components such as a compact gearbox with 3 small planetary gears, a center diff to increase stability, a fully adjustable suspension, and cam-lock wheel caps.
The modern specification of the car has a few updates, such as universal drive-shafts and machined aluminum uprights, which gives this version increased durability and performance over the original.

Improved Suspension Geometry: The 8IGHT-XT/XTE Next Gen suspension geometry has been completely revamped making a truck that is fast, nimble, and easy to drive. This includes a myriad of updates including wider front pivot with less scrub radius, narrower rear pivot, longer front and rear arms, and updated hub offset.

Flex Tune Suspension Arms: All new suspension arms have been designed to accept stiffener plates that will allow racers to tune the flex of the suspension. The kit will include molded plates with optional carbon fiber plates available separately.

Wider 3mm Chassis: Chassis width has been increased to aid in stability and give the truggy a more neutral feel as well as equalized side to side for equal torsional flex and thinned down to 3mm for weight savings.

Larger Pinion Bearing: The internal pinion bearing size in the front and rear has been increased for added durability.

Cab Forward Style Body: Cab forward design helps with overall down force, which improves steering and overall stability.

Chassis Side Guards: New chassis side guards that have an improved fit onto the chassis.

Large Footprint Nitro Engine Mount: Lightweight large footprint engine mount that reduces flex underneath the engine to eliminate chassis fatigue on high traction race surfaces for nitro.

One Piece Electric Motor Mount: One piece aluminium motor mount that is easy to adjust pinion sizing for electric motors.

Better Diff Access: The front and rear diff case have been altered to allow easier access to the differentials without removing the bulkheads from the vehicle.

Sway Bar System: New sway bar system that has adjustable length links to allow better equalization of each side of sway bar as well as collars that keep the sway bars centered.

Equalized driveline: The center drive shaft angles have been modified so they are equal front to rear allowing for a more 4wd feel to the vehicle.

Updated Radio Tray: An updated radio tray now puts the throttle servo near the engine to eliminate additional linkage. The updated radio tray will ensure the throttle servo is rigidly mounted to avoid any flex by floating the servo off of the center differential.

Optimized Shocks: The 8IGHT-X shocks are optimized and lightened to decrease the center of gravity and lower the weight of the car.

Ball Bearing Throttle and Brake Actuator: The throttle and brake actuator uses ball bearings in order to give a super smooth feel on the throttle.

Large Bearing Spindles and Carriers: All four corners of the vehicle have been updated to use large ball bearings and the same bearings.

Shorter Wheelbase: The wheelbase has been shortened to aid in grip as well as provide more agile handling.

Rear Adjustable Hubs:
The rear hubs on the 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 have an updated pin location as well as are now height adjustable in more increments for fine-tuning and maximum rear grip.

Square Insert Pills and Narrower Rear Pivots:
All pivot mounts have been updated to use square pills to offer more tunability. The rear pivots are now narrowed to improve the front to rear roll of the car and provide more rear grip in all situations and better-balanced front to rear.

7075 3mm Aluminium Chassis:
The chassis is new to the 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 and is made from 7075 3mm thick aluminium and hard anodized for the best wear possible. The chassis is also milled out deeper to allow for more flex and the lightest 1/8 chassis to date.

Center Diff Setup:
The center diff mount is a new molded composite piece offering more rigidity and the new integrated mount for the throttle servo is lighter. The E buggy side will be handled using an updated center diff setup from the 8XT.

Brake Setup:
The brake cams have been updated and the brakes are now freer and provide better and more consistent braking force and feel.

Front and Rear Shock Towers:
The rear shock tower works with the new rear gearbox and pivots. The front shock tower is shorter to decrease the front chassis roll as well as lower the CG. Both have been lightened, new camber link mounting positions, as well as shock mounting positions to provide the tunability and durability racers, are looking for.

Better Diff Access:
The front and rear diff case have been altered to allow easier access to the differentials without removing the bulkheads from the vehicle. The rear diff case has been updated to allow for the new C and D pivot blocks.

Cab-Forward Style Body:
A cab-forward design helps with overall downforce, which improves steering and overall stability. The body comes precut for ease of mounting.

Front Spindles:
The 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 spindles have been updated to use 3mm screws for the steering arm for increased reliability.

Front and Rear Universals:
The 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 includes universals for the front and rear which are shorter and lighter which makes the car smoother in existing turns and aids in the flow in bumpy track conditions.

Aluminium Wheel Hexes:
The wheel hexes in the 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 have been optimized for use with this updated platform. They are hard-anodized aluminium for durability and weight savings.

Radio Tray:
The steering servo has been moved in and forward to provide a better balance to the car. For the E version, the updated steering servo mount has an integrated ESC mount to get the ESC forward in the car.

Steering Rack:
The steering rack allows more Ackerman adjustments and an improved servo saver to eliminate bellcrank bind during high loads. Also, the rear mounting points moved in and back allowing the drag link to sway back for a more linear steering feel.

Wing Mount:
8IGHT-X/E 2.0 uses the wing mount from the 8IGHT-X Truggy that offers different heights and positions for ultimate traction control.

Optimized Shocks:
The 8IGHT-X shocks are optimized and lightened to decrease the center of gravity and lower the weight of the car and will include 3.5mm shock shafts. The shock pistons have been altered to allow more blow-by to aid in bump handling.

Insert/Truss Suspension Arms:
Long front and rear arms provide great bump handling and stability. The arms are stronger using a truss-style base as well as upper stiffener plates to adjust flex for full tuning abilities. Bushings are used for the inner hinge pin area to provide a worry-free, smooth function at all times.

Gear Differential:
All three gear differentials now include V2 HD diff cases with composite pin holders, V2 O rings, lightened sun gears, and F/R high traction outdrives. Which provides more grip and a consistent feel throughout the entire run along with quicker acceleration and longer run times.

Suspension Geometry:
The 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 next-generation suspension geometry has further been updated making a car that is fast, nimble, and even easier to drive. This includes a myriad of updates including, a wider front pivot with less scrub radius, narrower rear pivot, and updated hub offset, longer suspension arms, and more suspension mounting locations.

Adjustable Caster Blocks:
17.5 degree caster blocks are included that allow the height of the spindle to be adjusted up and down for more or less high-speed stability.

Sway Bar System:
Sway bar system that has collars that eliminate side to side play to provide a more consistent suspension package.

Chassis Side Guards:
The chassis side guards have been updated to allow for more room as well as moved back 3mm to provide for tire expansion. The E-Buggy side now has the battery tray molded into the side guard for a lower center of gravity and lighter weight.

Bleeder Shock Caps:
Machined aluminium shock caps with threaded bleeder holes for easy and consistent bleeding of oil. Bladders and Emulsion seals are included for tuning to your track conditions and driving style.

Revived in all its glory!
At the 1987 Electric Off-Road Car World Championship in the UK, the prototype Optima Mid dominated the 4WD A-Main final race securing 5 out of 10 starting positions. Following its success, the Optima Mid was commercialized to achieve worldwide racing acclaim.
In 1988, the Turbo Optima Mid Special was released in limited quantities as the final evolution of the Optima Mid and sold out instantly due to overwhelming demand. Now, this legendary machine returns in 2025 as Volume 18 of Kyosho's Vintage Series.
The original Turbo Optima Mid Special featured an 18mm longer wheelbase than the Optima Mid, enhancing high-speed stability and cornering performance.
Its main chassis was designed for improved battery weight distribution and constructed from FRP sandwiched between carbon plates, striking an optimal balance of flexibility and rigidity. The belt and belt cover were also specifically designed for the Turbo Optima Mid Special, and the body was newly created to match the chassis.
This faithful reproduction retains all these defining features while incorporating updates to support modern power systems and R/C electronics. Previously optional parts are now included as standard, along with several newly developed components. Unlike the original, this is not a limited edition but a permanent addition to Kyosho’s catalog.

About the Avante:
The machine features a unique shaft-driven 4WD system which was taken from Tamiya’s first 4WD R/C buggy, the Hotshot. It features a highly sophisticated design including an FRP double-deck chassis layout, longitudinal motor & battery positions, and a formula-type body with chassis fairing. It is equipped with innovative components such as a compact gearbox with 3 small planetary gears, a center diff to increase stability, a fully adjustable suspension, and cam-lock wheel caps.
The modern specification of the car has a few updates, such as universal drive-shafts and machined aluminum uprights, which gives this version increased durability and performance over the original.

Astute (TD2)
This 2WD R/C off-road assembly kit buggy inherits its name from the 1980s Tamiya R/C rear-wheel drive model "Astute." The low-profile, sleek body is designed by Kota Nezu of znug design.
The model features a driver figure in the cockpit and individual front/rear small fenders. Two types (high/low) of wing stays are included to adjust downforce.
Based on a monocoque frame chassis with midship motor and battery pack position toward the rear, the Astute 2022 utilizes front ribbed and rear square spike tires.
TD2 - Superbly Balanced RWD
The TD2 is a rear-wheel drive buggy chassis which employs front inboard suspension for slim, low-profile form, and a monocoque frame with optimum R/C equipment layout. It features a midship transverse motor and transverse battery pack positioned to the rear.
The sealed gearbox has a built-in ball differential to limit slip and 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension utilizes CVA oil dampers. Turnbuckle shafts for use as upper arms facilitate camber angle adjustment.
Front suspension has a skid angle of 25 degrees and angled dampers for smooth performance. Ribbed front and rear square spike tires facilitate stability and great grip. Front wheels are attached by hex hubs.

Tamiya’s designers have crafted the next fun to drive 4WD off-road buggy, the Super Avante!
The body comes in the form of a re-imagined Avante. It even shares the fun rear wing moniker, “Being Nuts is Neat!” And, the front of the all-new TD-4 chassis, shares a front horizontal damper layout design, similar to the original Avante, except, this time around, the front dampers are underneath the body.
The stylish body was designed by Kota Nezu, who has contributed to a number of popular Tamiya products.
TD4 - Low Profile, High Performance
The TD4 is a shaft-driven 4WD buggy chassis which employs front inboard suspension for slim, low-profile form. It features a longitudinal battery pack position in the center and a midship transverse motor for optimum balance and improved performance.

The GF-01FT is a variant of the GF-01. In place of the original tires are four swinging track units, which are attached with the uprights and are powered via drive sprockets. The tracks themselves are assembly type, with metal link pins and two types of link (standard, grouser) for running in different conditions.

Volvo's impressive and varied vehicle line-up is home to a highly successful range of working vehicles that includes haulers for heavyweight work in mines, quarries and the like, among them the A60H that was announced at the bauma 2016 show in Munich. This R/C model assembly kit depicts the A60H with a polycarbonate cab section capturing the hauler's distinctive lines, and a sturdy bed molded in ABS plastic. Stickers are included to recreate details such as front grille, air inlets flanking the hood, headlights, logos and more.
Fun, Innovative & Great Performance!
The fun G6-01 chassis is based around a tough, slimline monocoque frame and offers excellent off-road performance thanks to a 6-wheel drive system. Power is provided by a motor behind the front wheels, and transmitted to front, center and rear wheels via gears. The gearbox is sealed to protect from dust and debris, and integrated into the frame; it has built-in front, center and rear differential gears to provide smooth cornering. 6-wheel double wishbone suspension is fitted with friction dampers, and yellow deep rim wheels are paired with chunky 113mm tires. A 2-piece steering tie-rod setup utilizes the servo on the left for excellent response. With suspension reassembly and a separately-sold transmitter with 4WS function and R/C equipment, the rear wheels can be made steerable.

This 2WD R/C off-road assembly kit buggy inherits its name from the 1980s Tamiya R/C rear-wheel drive model "Astute." The low-profile, sleek body is designed by Kota Nezu of znug design.
The model features a driver figure in the cockpit and individual front/rear small fenders. Two types (high/low) of wing stays are included to adjust downforce.
Based on a monocoque frame chassis with midship motor and battery pack position toward the rear, the Astute 2022 utilizes front ribbed and rear square spike tires.
TD2 - Superbly Balanced RWD
The TD2 is a rear-wheel drive buggy chassis which employs front inboard suspension for slim, low-profile form, and a monocoque frame with optimum R/C equipment layout. It features a midship transverse motor and transverse battery pack positioned to the rear.
The sealed gearbox has a built-in ball differential to limit slip and 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension utilizes CVA oil dampers. Turnbuckle shafts for use as upper arms facilitate camber angle adjustment.

The Bigwig is back!
This is a 2017 version of the shaft-driven 4WD buggy that was released to commemorate 10 years of Tamiya R/C models back in 1986. It features several updates while keeping largely to the classic design of the original. The slimline body, designed and penned in 1986 by famed Japanese designer Takuya Yura, is still a classic today, as it possesses advanced aerodynamics thanks to his encyclopedic design knowledge. Updated markings retain the flavor of the original Bigwig and include the Mooncraft logo of Yura's design company.

Based around a tough monocoque frame with integrated gearboxes, this compact 4WD chassis gives a thrilling drive whether you take it on road or flat dirt surfaces. It features a rear-mounted motor, with gear-driven rear wheels and a propeller shaft taking power to the front. Both front and rear gearboxes have differential gears. The battery pack location in the chassis center secures excellent balance, while 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension employs friction dampers. Rally Block tires with width/diameter of 27/69mm are also included.

This assembly kit creates an updated re-release version of the classic R/C off-road buggy Thunder Dragon, which appeared in a Japanese cartoon in the 1980s. Its ABS bathtub frame is tough and allows easy maintenance, while 4-wheel double wishbone suspension uses CVA oil dampers and a front stabilizer for a superior ride.
Sealed gearboxes front and rear contain differentials with die-cast 3-bevel types for smooth, superior handling feel, and semi-pneumatic spike tires give great grip. The streamlined body is molded in polycarbonate, with non-canopy sections painted in silver. It is pre-cut for convenience.

The midship motor, shaft-driven 4WD chassis is based around a lightweight and tough monocoque, with 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension attached to gearboxes: an easy maintenance layout using upper "I" and lower "H" arms. This is an updated re-release version of the Fire Dragon, a 4WD buggy originally sold in 1989 and based upon a car in the popular 1980s Japanese comic "Rajicon Boy." Its polycarbonate body features a distinctive swept form, is pre-painted in red, and is even pre-cut for your convenience - just apply the included stickers. An unpainted driver figure is also included for installation in the cockpit.

Carrying an assortment of pinion gears has never been easier with the introduction of the Pinion Puck by JConcepts. The circular design and aluminium material surrounds the pinion gear and protects the finish of valued gears from damage. These tires feature the industry standard AKA Red Closed Cell Inserts, and are intended for use with Team Associated, TLR/Losi and Kyosho 1/10 2WD and 4WD buggies that use a 12mm hex rear wheel.

- Balance: Like AKA inserts and wheels, tire balance is critical to superior performance and it's a priority in AKA tires. Mold components are manufactured to the highest tolerances to ensure the best possible alignment of all the mold components. This results in a tire with more uniform thickness for the best possible balance.
- Mold Accuracy: AKA tire molds are made in the U.S.A. using the most advance mold-making techniques and processes available. The cost is higher to produce such a precision mold, but its part of an uncompromising desire to deliver the highest quality product available.
- Assembly Quality: AKA R-Line Pre-Mounts are all hand assembled using AKA Premium tire glue and are double checked for adhesion quality. There is no doubt AKA has the best pre-mounts in the industry.
These wider wheel hexes are direct replacements for the stock hexes on the 8IGHT and 8IGHT-T vehicles. Using these hexes will add 1/2" of width over the stock set.

The TYPO is a very low tread pattern that has been optimized for hard-packed indoor tracks. The carcass features the 1/8 scale EVO bead, combined with a refined tread profile.
NOTE: These tires are only compatible with AKA EVO 2WD front wheels.

- Red Insert (Soft):The red insert is designed to soak up the big bumps with its fluted I.D. while still holding its shape in the turns to increase corner speed and consistency.
