This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Nissan R91CP, which followed up its 1991 All-Japan Sports Prototype Championship triumph with a victory in the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1992. The aerodynamic, sleek form is recreated in lightweight and durable polycarbonate plastic.
The rear induction pod, side mirror on the driver’s side and windshield wiper are separately molded and add extra realism. Stickers are included for sponsor logos and racing number, and masking stickers for windows and headlights. The cockpit is realistically recreated with a steering wheel and shift lever; the driver figure has 3 marking options.
The direct-drive 2WD chassis gives a crisp, responsive drive and allows a range of settings for features such as ground clearance, chassis roll and rear oil damper. Take this chance to get your hands on a champion!


Direct-Drive 2WD Chassis
Based around an ABS plastic bathtub, with space frames front and rear and FRP plate, the chassis is a composite design that offers a rigid base to back up the fluid suspension: the result is a crisp, responsive drive.
At the front, it has an independent coil spring king pin suspension setup, while the rear rigid suspension is a 3-point design with a 1.5mm thickness FRP T-bar and CVA oil damper; teamed up with sponge tires front and rear, they ensure superb road holding. Additionally, use of spacers allows two different front and three rear ground clearance setups.
The 2WD direct-drive setup transmits power straight to the rear wheels via a spur gear, with a built-in ball differential giving limited slip diff effect.

Features include:
  • The sleek, low-profile and wide aerodynamic form is recreated by a polycarbonate body.
  • Headlights are separate polycarbonate parts. Paint them black and use the included stickers to finish them off.
  • The cockpit is realistically recreated with a steering wheel and a shift lever; the driver figure has 3 marking options.
  • The aero mirror on the driver’s side A pillar is faithfully captured.
  • The rear induction pod for cooling brakes is depicted with a separately molded component.
  • The large rear wing consists of plastic stays and a polycarbonate main wing and end plates.
  • The composite chassis is based around an ABS plastic bathtub frame with space frames front and rear and FRP plate.
  • An upper space frame solidifies the front end. Choose between two ground clearance settings.
  • The front suspension uses kingpins and coil springs.
  • The front 1-piece wheels feature a stylish 5-spoke design. Stickers are included to recreate the Goodyear and Eagle logos.
  • The gearbox rests atop an FRP T-bar, which is damped with a CVA oil damper in a rigid rear setup.
  • The 2WD direct-drive setup has a spur gear with built-in ball differential. Choose between three ground clearance setups.
  • Lightweight and grippy sponge tires are wider at the rear.
